Using the Widget Maker in their group dashboard, Art Box created a widget that allows members of their group to directly post to their opportunity board, which is embedded within their website. It soon became a beehive of activity. They are seeing emerging artists connect with well established members of their community for advisory support, and they are overwhelmingly seeing their members post service offerings and trade resources with each other.

Art Box sends every new member a link to join their Skill Squirrel group. Once new members have joined the group, they have access to tools for creating posts that will appear within Art Box's opportunity board. Having members join their group also makes it extremely easy to issue those members a verifiable digital credential as proof of membership. Members tend to add these credentials to their portfolio websites and social profiles, which provides more public exposure for the Art Box brand.

Within Art Box's group dashboard, they can track member activity using various types of statistics. Such as, who are the most active members, which type of posts get the most views, and what are most popular types of job titles as career goals. Discover Groups
Riley was referred to Skill Squirrel by his employment counsellor. Since he could explore the app as a guest, he felt free to explore the various groups without committing to creating an account. When he landed the Art Box group, he clicked on their social and website links to learn more about the association. This led Riley to purchased a membership from Art Box's website. In the welcome message, there was a link to the same Skill Squirrel group he had visited. This time, he created a free account on Skill Squirrel and joined Art Box's private group.
Earn Credential
Riley's access to Art Box's private group allowed him to see all the offers available from Art Box and other members. It also allowed him to see a credential earning opportunity for participating in Art Box's Startup program. Upon completion of the program, Art Box issued Riley a verifiable digital credential to certify his completion of the program, which he added to his LinkedIn profile. He also made a LinkedIn recommendation for the advisor that he connected with through Art Box's opportunity board, which is located within a member's only section of their website. It contains most of the same posts as found within their Skill Squirrel group, but it has an emphasis on training and advisory opportunities.
Create Profile
Having earned the Art Box Strartup Program credential, which verifies key business skills, Riley made an Art Box profile and attached the credential to that profile. Having the credential on his profile signals to other Art Box members that Riley is in the process of building his business. He also used the logo he made within Art Box's Startup program as his profile image, and he attached skill tags that best describe his capabilities.
Create Post
In effort to build deeper relationships with other Art Box members, Riley leveraged his Art Box group profile to promote his skills. Using his free account to create a post, Riley created a seeking version of an experiential post. This post described the type of opportunity he is looking for, which is portrait services for exhibitors at Art Box's annual Summer Sidewalk Exhibition.
Earn Endorsements
Exhibitors that Riley photographed were able to use low resolution versions of their pictures for modest fee, and many chose to purchase larger, touched-up versions for their websites and press kits. As a result of his quality work and ease of doing business with, many of the exhibitors endorsed the skills on Riley's profile and give him written recommendations. The endorsements are now reflected on Riley's profile. When Riley is ready to upgrade his account, he'll be able to showcase recommendations in his Skill Squirrel portfolio.
